The severe cyclonic storm Tauktae has wreaked havoc in Mumbai on May 17. Due to the speedy winds, several trees were uprooted. Severe waterlogging was reported from several low-lying areas. Normal life hit out of gear. IMD predicted, moderate to intense rain accompanied by strong winds likely to occur in parts of Mumbai. IMD has also issued a warning for fishermen near coastal areas.
