In a special televised address on Saturday, Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said that the UN Security Council had yet to issue any statement on the current situation in Palestine due to opposition from the United States.

Hence, Malaysia is calling for the council to act immediately to stop attacks on Palestine.
