A week after BJP’s big victory in Assam, Himanta Biswa Sarma took oath as the Chief Minister of Assam on May 10. He was administered the oath by Governor Jagdish Mukhi. BJP national president JP Nadda and other leaders were also present at the ceremony. CM of Tripura Biplab Deb, Meghalaya CM Conrad Sangma, Manipur CM N Biren Singh, and Nagaland CM Neiphiu Rio also present at the ceremony. Former CM Sarbananda Sonowal also present.
