This week I’d like to share with you this beautiful and challenging piano arrangement from Joe Hisaishi. This lovely tune can be heard as a soundtrack of the movie “Spirited away”.

Mr Hisaishi has become world wide famous thanks to his collaboration with the great Japanese animator and film maker Hayao Miyazaki.

His gentle yet full of emotion style captures the innocent dreamlike atmosphere of this film.

Although the orquestal version of this piece is quite popular I particularly enjoy Hisaishi’s intimate piano solo interpretation.
