The Maharashtra Anti-Terror Squad has seized over 7 kg of natural uranium worth about ₹21.30 crore. The Maharashtra ATS arrested 2 people from Mumbai in connection with the haul. The Maharashtra ATS had sent the Uranium to Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) for analysis. The BARC found the substance to be natural uranium which is highly radioactive and dangerous to human life.
