There have been a number of people in and around Delhi who have been duped by the "Covid SOS Scammers" targeting thousands of people who are using social media posts to seek help in these desperate times.

Meanwhile, twenty-three people have been arrested in Gujarat's Sanand district after hundreds took part in a religious procession flouting Covid-safety norms. These devotees had assembled at a temple to do traditional water rituals. The incident took place on May 3 in Navpura village in Sanand taluka in Ahmedabad district.
