The counting of votes to declare Kerala Assembly Election 2021 has started in the state. Postal ballots will be counted first. As per initial trends, Metroman E Sreedharan is currently leading from the Palakkad assembly constituency. Palakkad constituency saw a triangular contest in the election. The Metroman was pitted against two-time Congress legislator Shafi Parambil, who is also the president of the Youth Congress, and CP Pramod of the CPI-M.
