Tamil Nadu politics has changed after the demise of J Jayalalithaa as her party the AIADMK has not been able to retain popularity and has been plagued by factionalism and power struggles. The DMK led by Karunanidhi’s son MK Stalin seems to have consolidated support in the party and has been on the attack against the AIADMK. The DMK is predicted to sweep to power in multiple exit polls.
