The seventh span of Padma Bridge was installed on Wednesday morning making 1,050 meters of the bridge visible.

The span of the country’s longest bridge was set up at the Zajira point on 36th and 37th pillars at 9:40am.

Deputy Assistant Engineer of the Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project Humayun Kabir confirmed the matter to Jago News.

According to the sources, the span is the sixth at Zajira point in Shariatpur district and the seventh of the overall as one span was installed at the Mawa point in Munshiganj district. The bridge will have a total of 41 spans.

The seventh span was taken to Zajira point by a ship on Tuesday morning for the installation.
