Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador expressed disappoint today that some members of the police force are still involved in illegal activities.

On Tuesday, Johor police chief Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said that 12 people, including 10 police personnel and two MACC officers, were arrested over their alleged links to the Nicky Gang.

He said the arrests were made by Johor Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) personnel under Phase 2 of Op Pelican 3.0, adding that the suspects have been remanded for 28 days under the Security Offences (Special Measures) Act 2012 (Sosma).
