Jaylen Brown was interviewed postgame after the Celtics’ 119-115 loss vs the Oklahoma City Thunder. He talked about his wrist injury, the Celtics effort issues, and the team’s plan moving forward.
Brown took a hard fall late in the game and came up clutching his wrist. He was asked about it postgame, to which Brown replied simply, “I’m okay.” It is unclear whether or not there is a bigger problem there.
He also spoke about the team’s issues with effort and urgency lately. “Yeah man, f***, like we gotta play with more of a sense of urgency,” said Brown. “We don’t have a team that can not show up and win games… we gotta bring it… as a full team effort we didn’t bring it enough tonight.”
Lastly, Brown talked about what the plan is moving forward for the Celtics. He said the goal is to “keep developing chemistry and find that inner flame.” They have to “keep developing chemistry and find that inner flame, man… we need that desperately, we need that fire, we need that fight… we gotta punch first as a unit”
