Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday said 44 oxygen plants will be installed in the national capital in the next one month. This comes as Delhi grapples with an acute shortage of medical oxygen.
Arvind Kejriwal said there is a dearth of tankers and hence 18 tankers are being imported from Bangkok to mitigate the problem. Additionally, 21 ready-to-use oxygen plants are being imported from France. Eight oxygen plants will be set up by the Centre while 36 will be set up by the Delhi government over the next one month.
