Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday said he had "fruitful conversation" with US President Joe Biden about the prevailing Covid-19 situation in India and the United States. The two leaders spoke to each other over a telephonic call on Monday evening.
The prime minister added that his discussion with President Biden underscored the importance of "smooth and efficient" supply chains of vaccine raw materials and medicines. PM Modi also tweeted that "India-US healthcare partnership can address the global challenge of Covid-19."
