After days of reporting over 60,000 cases, Maharashtra on Monday saw a sharp drop in daily Covid-19 cases with 48,700 fresh infections. This take the state's tally of active cases to 6,74,770. According to the state government data, Maharashtra also recorded 524 coronavirus-related deaths in the last 24 hours.  Nagpur remains the worst affected district where the positivity rate has now breached the 30 per cent mark.
