US health regulators "have full confidence" that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine's "known and potential benefits outweigh its known and potential risks in individuals 18 years of age and older," says Janet Woodcock, head of the Food and Drug Administration, in a joint virtual press conference with the with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Both agencies say Johnson & Johnson Covid vaccinations can restart, after the shots' rollout was paused due to worries over blood clotting.
