The Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal urged the migrant workers not to leave the city and even assured the government's help and assistance to take care of their needs as Delhi entered the first of the six-day lockdown in the national capital on Monday. Anil Baijal met Arvind Kejriwal and the Chief Secretary to take stock of the situation and directed the government to take every possible step to control the reverse migration situation. Meanwhile, in relief to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Supreme Court has stayed the Allahabad High Court (HC) order which directed the UP government to impose strict restrictions till April 26 in five cities amid a surge in Covid-19 cases. The Supreme Court has also directed the UP government to immediately report to the high court about the steps it has taken to curb the spread of the infection.
