Migrant workers leave for their native places after Delhi imposed a Covid-19 lockdown

Delhi government on April 19 announced a week-long lockdown to curb the spread of Covid-19. Migrant workers gathered at Anand Vihar Terminal and Anand Vihar ISBT to return to their native places. Navin, a native of Nepal said, “I do a job in Delhi and work is yet to resume, so it is better to return home than to sit here”. Delhi will be in lockdown from 10 pm of April 19 till 5 am on April 26. The national capital, on April 18, reported over 25,000 Covid cases.
