KHud baDh ke ishq ne mujhe mera pata diya

wo shan-e-KHamushi ki bahaaren hain muntazir
wo rang-e-guftugu ki gulistan bana diya

saqi mujhe bhi yaad hain wo tishna-kaamiyan
jin ko harif-e-saghar-o-mina bana diya

ہجر و وصال یار کا پردہ اٹھا دیا
خود بڑھ کے عشق نے مجھے میرا پتا دیا

وہ شان خامشی کہ بہاریں ہیں منتظر
وہ رنگ گفتگو کہ گلستاں بنا دیا

ساقی مجھے بھی یاد ہیں وہ تشنہ کامیاں
جن کو حریف ساغر و مینا بنا دیا
