COMMUTERS' CROSS

Commuters are stranded along Commonwealth Ave. in Quezon City on April 14, 2021 due to the lack of public transport resulting from the lockdown in the National Capital Region and nearby provinces. The LTFRB on April 15 will reopen 60 additional routes for public utility jeepneys in the NCR and 190 for provincial buses under a less stringent modified enhanced community quarantine until April 30 to minimize or fully stop the operation of out-of-line or “colorum” vehicles which the Department of Transport sees as among the main contributors to the spread of Covid-19.
