West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee sits on dharna at Gandhi Murti, as a mark of protest after the Election Commission of India (ECI) imposed a ban on her for 24 hours from campaigning in any manner till 8 pm on April 13. EC's ban came after Mamata Banerjee's remarks appealing to locals to gherao the central forces during polling in Bengal. However, BJP is calling Mamata's dharna a drama.
