In the matter of cleanliness, the municipal administration of Indore, which occupies the first number in the country, has taken a commendable decision. The Indore Municipal Corporation has deployed around 700 people for garbage picking at its trenching ground.

स्वच्छता के मामले में देशभर में पहले नंबर पर रहने वाले इंदौर के नगर निगम प्रशासन ने एक सराहनीय फैसला लिया है. इंदौर नगर निगम ने अपने ट्रेंचिंग ग्राउंड पर लगभग 700 लोगों को कचरा बीनने के काम पर लगाया है. कुछ साल पहले डोर-टू-डोर कचरा इकट्ठा करने के इंदौर नगर निगम के फैसले से शहर के कचरा बीनने वालों के लिए रोजी-रोटी का संकट पैदा हो गया था, क्योंकि सड़कों पर कूड़ा उठाने के लिए कोई कचरा नहीं था. लेकिन निगम की इस पहल से अब इन लोगों को रोजगार मिल गया है।
