Anil Deshmukh finally resigned from the post of Home Minister of Maharashtra. NCP tried hard to defend Deshmukh after his name came out in an extortion case. Now BJP is directly pressurizing Uddhav Thackeray to resign. Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad says that if Deshmukh has resigned on the basis of morality, then Uddhav Thackeray must resign.
