ಹೊಸ ಐಟಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ನ್ಯೂಸ್ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್‌ಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೀರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು, “ಒಟಿಟಿ ಪ್ಲಾಟ್‌ಫಾರ್ಮ್‌ಗಳು ಅಥವಾ ಇತರ ಘಟಕಗಳ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಿಯಂತ್ರಣಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ” ಎಂದು ಅರ್ಜಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ

The petition said the new IT rules would affect digital news portals, noting that "there is no question of restrictions on OTT platforms or other entities."
