The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) on Wednesday extended the deadline for e-mandate for recurring payments of online transactions by six months till September 30, 2021, while coming down heavily on banks for not implementing the system on time, threatening "stringent supervisory action" if the deadline is missed again.

लाखों ग्राहकों के लिए बड़ी राहत की खबर है. 1 अप्रैल से जो आपके डेबिट कार्ड और क्रेडिट कार्ड का ऑटो पेमेंट बंद होने वाला था उस गाइडलाइंस की मियाद रिजर्व बैंक ने 6 महीने बढ़ा दी है. रिजर्व बैंक के मुताबिक, एडिशनल फैक्टर ऑटेंथिकेशन के नियम को लागू करने के लिए बैंकों को 30 सितंबर तक की और छूट दी जाती है. RBI के मुताबिक, अभी 6 माह तक पुराने दिशानिर्देशों के मुताबिक ही कामकाज होगा.
