Transport Minister Wee Ka Siong told reporters today that he has asked the Road Transport Department (JPJ) not to issue compounds to vehicle owners who have modified their exhaust systems.
Wee said instead JPJ will take a softer 'advocacy' approach which will involve the issuance of an inspection notice.
