In Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura, the festival of colors start seven days before the celebration. Tourists and devotees of Lord Krishana celebrated ‘Lathmar Holi’ with lots of colors in Uttar Pradesh’s Barsana on March 24. On this day, women in traditional dress beat men with wooden sticks. Men convey a safeguard to secure themselves while women beat them with sticks.

होली का उत्सव शुरू हो चुका है. राधा जी के बरसाने में होली की धूम ही अलग होती है. बरसाना राधा का जन्मस्थान है. होली शुरू होते ही सबसे पहले बरसाना रंगों में डूबता है. यहां भी सबसे ज्यादा मशहूर है बरसाना की लट्ठमार होली। मथुरा के नजदिक बरसाना में होली से कुछ दिनों पहले ही शुरू हो जाती है। लट्ठमार होली में शामिल होने के लिए देश विदेश से लाखों लोग यहां पहुंचते हैं । होली के समय यहां माहौल ही अलग और अद्भुत होता है।
