He was lethal from everywhere on the floor for Boston in a game where they desperately needed it. Teague talked about stepping up when the team needed him. He was asked about facing off against Grizzlies star Ja Morant. Teague sang Morant’s praises in the interview. He also talked about how the Celtics got killed in the paint and on the glass. He gave a lot of credit to big man Jonas Valanciunas. Teague started in place of Kemba Walker, who sat due to injury management. He was forced to step up on offense as Jayson Tatum was announced as OUT just minutes before the game.
