Former Maharashtra chief minister and BJP leader Devendra Fadnavis on Wednesday claimed that during his tenure as CM, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray had asked him in 2018 to reinstate the then suspended police officer Sachin Waze into the state police force. After that, Devendra Fadnavis met PM Modi, Amit Shah and JP Nadda for about an hour over Sachin Vaze issue.
