DMK president MK Stalin released the party manifesto on March 13 for the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections. It has more than 500 promises which include reduction in petrol and diesel prices by Rs 5 and Rs 4 per litre respectively. DMK has also promised to make efforts to provide citizenship to Sri Lankan Tamils. The manifesto also talks about metro rail projects in Coimbatore and other cities. Tamil Nadu will hold elections for 234 constituencies in a single-phase on April 6.
