INS Karanj, India’s third Scorpene-class diesel-electric submarine, was commissioned into the Indian Navy in Mumbai on Wednesday. After several stages of testing, the submarine was inducted into the Indian fleet. The most important thing about this submarine is that it makes very little noise inside the sea.
