भारत के विकेटकीपर बल्लेबाज ऋषभ पंत ने शुक्रवार को इंग्लैंड के खिलाफ मुश्किल परिस्थितियों में धमाकेदार शतक जड़कर टीम को मजबूत स्थिति में पहुंचा दिया। जब पंत बल्लेबाजी करने आए, उस समय टीम 80 रनों पर ही चार विकेट गंवाकर संघर्ष कर रही थी। उन्होंने सातवें विकेट के लिए ऑफ स्पिनर वॉशिंगटन सुंदर के साथ शतकीय साझेदारी करके भारत को पहली पारी में बढ़त लेने में महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
