BN has appeared to backtrack from its call for the Yang di-Pertuan Agong to order for a Parliament sitting as soon as possible.

This comes after BN leaders said coalition partners never agreed in their recent meeting to make such an appeal.

BN executive secretary Mohamad Sahfri Ab Aziz said last night’s press release was due to a mistake by a BN secretariat officer.

He added that the officer has since been suspended for a month effective immediately.
