In a positive move the Chhattisgarh police have recruited 13 transgenders as constables in four districts of Chhattisgarh, This move too place after the results of the Chhattisgarh Constable Recruitment examination were declared on Monday. Reports suggest that out of these 13 people nine were recruited from Raipur itself.

छत्तीसगढ़ पुलिस भर्ती के आए नतीजे जिसमें पहली बार 13 किन्नर पुलिस आरक्षक बनेंगे। इसके लिए थर्ड जेंडर प्रतिभागियों के नाम जारी किए गए हैं। बीते सोमवार को 2 हजार 259 पदों पर पूरे राज्य से लोगों को चुना गया। ऐसा माना जा रहा है कि छत्तीसगढ़ देश का ऐसा पहला राज्य है जहां इतनी संख्या में किन्नरों को पुलिस में शामिल किया गया है।
