U.S. Strategic Command bomber forces regularly conduct combined theater security cooperation engagements with allies and partners, demonstrating the #US capability to command, control and conduct bomber missions across the globe.

Bomber missions demonstrate the credibility and flexibility of our forces to address today's complex, dynamic and volatile global security environment. Barksdale Air Force Base recently deployed several B-52H Stratofortresses' #Aircraft to Andersen #AirForce Base in support of a Bomber Task Force deployment.

"Bomber Task Force deployments are representative of U.S. commitment to our allies and ensuring regional stability. Our team’s ability to quickly deploy to different locations like Guam showcase the force’s agility to rapidly project bomber forces globally. It is equally important that Airmen are trained in different environments other than home station operations. BTF’s ensure that our Airmen are able to meet the high standards that our country expects of them regardless of the operating location.

A bomber task force construct consists of many different units that seamlessly integrate into a single task force to support the long range strike mission. To be successful, it requires exceptional teamwork and clear, concise communication flow throughout the Task Force. Every single airmen assigned to the BTF has a vital role in maintaining the high state of readiness and proficiency that our nation demands.

As the commander, I am extremely proud of this team’s professionalism and all their accomplishments during this deployment. To the all the Red Devils….first to bomb!"

"The appearance of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) visual information does not imply or constitute DoD endorsement."
