Mumtaz Jehan Begum Dehlavi (born 14 February 1933 – 23 February 1969), better known by her stage name Madhubala, was an Indian film actress who appeared in Hindi films. She was active between 1942 and 1964. Legendary Actress Madhubala's younger sister Mrs. Mathur Bushan reminisces about Madhubala. Mughal e Azam was her last film. At the age of 36, she expired. On 14th February she was born and she died in the same month, in 1969. Her going left a hole in the heart. Her condition itself was a hole in the heart. Surgery was not advanced enough to cure her with the appropriate heart surgery.
