The issue ofmarriage is again in the legal frame. The Central Government has spoken about the marriage. The Central Government told the Delhi High Court on Thursday that it is not a fundamental right of anyone to get recognition for marriage. The government said this in response to a petition on behalf of couples seeking to get married to their partner of choice within the ambit of fundamental rights.

समलैंगिक विवाह का मसला फिर से कानूनी चौखट में है. केंद्र सरकार ने समलैंगिक विवाह को लेकर कोर्ट ने अपनी बात कही है. केंद्र सरकार ने गुरुवार को दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट से कहा कि समलैंगिक विवाह के लिए मान्यता पाना किसी का मौलिक अधिकार नहीं है. सरकार ने ये बात समलैंगिक जोड़ों की तरफ से अपनी पसंद के साथी से विवाह करने को मौलिक अधिकार के दायरे में लाने की मांग वाली एक याचिका के जबाव में कही.
