The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal surprised many with its victory in in Gujarat municipal corporation elections. Aam Aadmi Party becomes the second-largest party in Surat by securing 27 seats. On this, AAP spokesperson Jasmine Shah said that the BJP was continuously winning in Gujarat due to the inaction of the Congress. But now the Aam Aadmi Party appears as a better option for the people of Gujarat.
