Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit boll-bound Assam and West Bengal today and lay foundation stones of various projects, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said.

PM Modi is scheduled to inaugurate important projects of the oil and gas sector in an event organised at Silapathar in Dhemaji, Assam on Monday. While in West Bengal, PM Modi will launch the extension of Metro Railway from Noapara to Dakshineswar, and flag off the first service on this stretch.
