In 2016, the hearing of slogans held at Jawaharlal Nehru University was heard on Tuesday in Patiala House Court in Delhi. After the hearing, the court has summoned Kanhaiya Kumar, former president of Jawaharlal Nehru University, on 15 March. Apart from Kanhaiya Kumar, the court has also sent summons to nine other accused. In this case, the Delhi Police was allowed to file a charge sheet only last year.

2016 में जवाहरलाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय में हुई नारेबाजी के मामले पर दिल्ली की पटियाला हाउस कोर्ट में मंगलवार को सुनवाई हुई. सुनवाई के बाद कोर्ट ने जवाहर लाल नेहरू विश्वविद्यालय के पूर्व अध्यक्ष कन्हैया कुमार को 15 मार्च को समन किया है. कन्हैया कुमार के अलावा कोर्ट नौ अन्य आरोपियों को भी समन भेजा है. इस मामले में दिल्ली पुलिस को पिछले साल ही चार्जशीट दायर करने की इजाजत मिली थी.
