The doors of the world famous Badrinath Dham located in the Garhwal Himalayas of Uttarakhand will open for devotees on 18 May this year. With this, the Chardham Yatra will begin this year. On the occasion of Basant Panchami, a Muhurta to open the Badrinath Temple (Badrinath Dham) was taken out in a ceremony held in the court of Tehri dynasty at Narendranagar. Sources in the Chardham Devasthanam board said that the doors of Badrinath Dham dedicated to Lord Vishnu will open at Braham Muhurta on May 18 at four-four.

उत्तराखंड के गढवाल हिमालय में स्थित विश्वप्रसिद्ध बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट श्रद्धालुओं के लिए इस वर्ष 18 मई को खुलेंगे। इसके साथ ही इस साल की चारधाम यात्रा शुरू हो जाएगी.बसंत पंचमी के मौके पर नरेंद्रनगर स्थित टिहरी राजवंश के दरबार में आयोजित समारोह में बदरीनाथ मंदिर (Badrinath Dham) को खोले जाने का मुहूर्त निकाला गया. चारधाम देवस्थानम बोर्ड के सूत्रों ने बताया कि भगवान विष्णु को समर्पित बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट 18 मई को ब्रह्म मुहूर्त में सवा चार बजे खुलेंगे.
