జాతీయ రహదారులపై టోల్ ప్లాజా చెల్లింపులకు కేంద్రం తీసుకొచ్చిన ఫాస్టాగ్(FASTag) విధానం సోమవారం(ఫిబ్రవరి 15) నుంచి దేశవ్యాప్తంగా అమలులోకి రానుంది. దేశంలోని అన్ని ఫోర్ వీలర్ వాహనాలకు ఇది తప్పనిసరి. కాబట్టి వాహనాదారులు ఇకపై ఫాస్టాగ్ లేకుండా టోల్ ఫీజు చెల్లించడం కుదరదు. సోమవారం నుంచి టోల్ గేట్ల వద్ద ఉండే అన్ని లేన్లు ఫాస్టాగ్ విధానంలోనే పనిచేయనున్నాయి. ఒకవేళ ఫాస్టాగ్ లేని వాహనం టోల్ గేట్ దాటాలంటే డబుల్ చార్జీలు చెల్లించక తప్పదు.
