Senior wicketkeeper-batsmen Jos Buttler and Jonny Bairstow were on Thursday named in a 16-member England squad for the five T20 International matches against India, scheduled in Ahmedabad between March 12 to 20. Buttler has gone back home after the opening Test against India, which the visitors won by 227 runs, while Bairstow has been rested for the first two five-day games of the four-match series as part of England's rotational policy. Also coming back is IPL franchise Chennai Super Kings' all-rounder, Sam Curran, who was rested for the Test series.

भारत के खिलाफ आगामी टी20 सीरिज के लिए इंग्लैंड ने टीम का एलान कर दिया है. इंग्लैंड ने पांच मैचों की टी20 सीरिज के लिए अपनी टीम का एलान किया है. बड़ी बात इस टीम की ये है कि जो रूट को कहीं भी जगह नहीं मिली है. हो सकता है इंग्लैंड उन्हें तीन मैचों की वनडे सीरिज में शामिल करें. पर इंग्लैंड क्रिकेट टीम के मुख्य चयनकर्ता एड स्मिथ ने टीम का एलान करने के बाद कहा है कि वनडे में भी टीम लगभग ऐसी ही होने वाली है. इंग्लैंड की टी-20 सीरीज में मोइन अली, सैम कुरेन, टॉम कुरेन और डेविड मलान को भी जगह दी गई है. इन खिलाड़ियों के अलावा आदिल राशिद, जेसन रॉय जैसे खिलाड़ी भी भारत के खिलाफ टी-20 सीरीज का हिस्सा बनने वाले हैं. जबकि भारत के खिलाफ टी-20 सीरीज के लिए जैक बॉल और मैट पार्किंसन को रिजर्व खिलाड़ी को तौर पर चुना गया है.
