SDRF chief Navneet Singh Bhullar left for the ongoing rescue operation in Chamoli. A glacier burst took place in Uttarakhand’s Chamoli district on February 7. So far, 16 people who were trapped in a tunnel near Tapovan area have been rescued. The glacier burst claimed lives of at least 7 people with around 170 people still missing. The disaster also led to the rise of the water level of Dhauliganga River.
