US President Joe Biden at US State Department address said that they are in touch with their allies to bring together the international community to address the Burma military coup. He urged the Burmese military to relinquish the power they have seized, release activists and resume telecommunications.
Taking a dig on China, Biden said, “We will take on directly challenges posed to our prosperity, security and democratic values by our most serious competitor, China.”
“We'll also confront their economic abuses. But we're ready to work with Beijing when it's in America's interest,” he further added.
