'Adipurush' shoot commences | Prabhas | Saif Ali Khan


While 2020 was a dull year for the film industry, 2021 started with a bang. The news of new films getting on floors every other day is making rounds and it is making the audience very excited. Finally, the shooting of another much-anticipated film - Prabhas and Saif Ali Khan starrer 'Adipurush' commenced on 2nd February.

Prabhas shared the news with his fans on Twitter and wrote: 
"#Adipurush aarambh" 

He shared the poster of the film which gives the tag line 'Adipurush: Celebrating the victory of good over evil' and below it, the makers gave the news of finally starting the movie.

Last month, the motion capturing of the film started. The team is reportedly using the new techniques of motion picture to create never seen before experience for the audience!

In the Om Raut directorial film, 'Adipurush' Prabhas will be seen essaying the role of Lord Ram while Saif Ali Khan will play the role of Raavan. The film is an adaptation of the Indian epic Ramayana which revolves around the victory of good over evil.

The film will be shot in 3D in Hindi and Telugu and will be dubbed in Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and several international languages. The film is jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, Om Raut, Prasad Sutar, and Rajesh Nair. 
'Adipurush' is set to release in 2022. 

Meanwhile, Prabhas's fans are eagerly waiting for his upcoming film 'Radhe Shyam' to release. It is a love story set in the 1960-70s in Paris.  The film is directed by Radhakrishna Kumar and also stars Pooja Hegde.

He will also be seen in a violent dark role in Prashanth Neel's film 'Salaar'. Shruti Hassan will be seen opposite him in the film.
