Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in her Budget speech today announced Agriculture Infrastructure and Development Cess (AIDC) on petrol and diesel. The Union Budget 2021 has imposed AIDC of Rs 2.5 per litre on petrol and Rs 4 per litre on diesel. However, thankfully, this cess will not result in any additional burden on consumers.

2021-22 ఆర్థిక సంవత్సరానికి గానూ కేంద్ర బడ్జెట్‌ను కేంద్ర ఆర్థికమంత్రి నిర్మలా సీతారామన్‌ నేడు లోక్‌సభలో ప్రవేశపెట్టారు. బడ్జెట్ లో కామన్ మ్యాన్(సామాన్యుడికి) ఎలాంటి ఊరట ఇవ్వని కేంద్రం.. భారీ షాక్ ఇచ్చే నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. పెట్రోల్, డీజిల్ పై వ్యవసాయ సెస్(సుంకం) విధిస్తున్నట్లు ప్రతిపాదనలు చేసింది. లీటర్ పెట్రోల్ పై రూ.2.50, డీజిల్ పై రూ.4 వ్యవసాయ సెస్ విధిస్తున్నట్లు కేంద్రం ప్రతిపాదనలు చేసింది.
