कोरोना काल में इस बात की उम्मीद जताई जा रही थी कि हेल्थ सेक्टर को मोदी सरकार की तरफ से कुछ ना कुछ खास मिलेगा। मोदी सरकार ने कोरोना को देखते हुए स्वास्थ्य क्षेत्र के लिए बजट में बढ़ोतरी की है और एक खास स्कीम भी चलाई है,वित्त मंत्री निर्मला सीतारमण ने बजट में 'पीएम आत्मनिर्भर स्वस्थ भारत' योजना का ऐलान किया है, उन्होंने बताया कि इस योजना के लिए 64,180 करोड़ रुपये का प्रावधान किया गया है. जिसे अगले 6 वर्षों में खर्च करने का प्लान है. इसके अलावा प्राथमिक स्वास्थ्य केंद्रों को मजबूत किया जाएगा.
