Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the Budget in Parliament on February 1. It comes at a time when the country is facing a once-in-a-lifetime health crisis. Sitharaman will have the unenviable task of managing the government\'s battered finances & ensuring a recovery in demand, in an economy facing its worst contraction since 1952. Finance Minister has raised hopes, by stating that it will \"be a Budget like never before”. Budget 2021 will be unique as it will be paperless, in a significant break from tradition, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Expectations are high that the centre will focus on infrastructure, healthcare, agriculture, rural economy & sectors impacted by the pandemic & lockdown restrictions. Watch the video to know more.
