This is a 6 dots kolam for ekadashi with shanku. Drawing kolams is our Indian tradition. There are various examples which signifies that this is an ancient culture. For example , it is said that goddess laxmi used to draw 3 lines on the cooking stove before cooking using rice flour. Warli painting is also such an example which exists today as well.
