A Western Disturbance is over the eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir. This system is moving away eastwards. Its induced Cyclonic Circulation is over Punjab and Haryana. A Trough is extending from this system up to Bihar across Uttar Pradesh. Rain and snow may continue in most parts of the Western Himalayas until the afternoon of January 29.

उत्तर भारत में कड़ाके की ठंड और सर्द हवाओं के बहने का सिलसिला जारी है तो कोहरा भी दिल्ली-एनसीआर समेत कई राज्यों को सफेद चादर में लपेटे हुए है. ठंड और कोहरे के अटैक लोगों की मुश्किलें बढ़ी हुई है और साथ ही शीतलहर की वजह से ठिठुरन बढ़ी हुई है. भारत मौसम विज्ञान विभाग (आईएमडी) ने जानकारी दी है कि उत्‍तर भारत के मैदानों और मध्‍य भारत में अगले 3 दिन खुष्‍क हवाओं का दौर चलेगा.
